Calgary Turkish Festival

Burç Intercultural Centre held its first Annual Turkish Festival in Calgary. Even though it was our first festival, we received a better than expected response from Calgarians! Thank you all!
There were a variety of activities including the Ebru Show (our performer came from Toronto) and Turkish Folklore Dance from Ottawa. Turkish coffee was served in a traditional setting designed with rugs and pillows, and there was a Turkish clothing and accessories booth. We also would like to thank our sponsors, Budget Waste Inc and Ebru TV

Our second Annual Turkish Festival is going to be held in July 2008 with many more new and exciting activities. So, check back for announcements and mark your calendars, folks!!!
